Lawyer and Bachelor of Social Sciences, she is a Specialist in Management and Public Policies from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and a Master's degree in Latin American Studies and Cultural Policies from the Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar.

She has extensive experience in the preparation and development of public policies for investment and financing in strategic sectors (mining, energy, water resources, hydrocarbons, environment, telecommunications), leading the General Coordination of Financing in the Coordinating Ministry of Strategic Sectors.

Vice Minister of Mining and Minister of Mining between 2017 and 2018, with an extensive career in the public sector, focused on the organization of this sector, supporting small and large mining, participated in some international events to promote investments in Ecuador , I sign the commitment letter with the international transparency organization EITI.


She has directed several projects for the positioning of development strategies for the articulation of public-private cooperation and incidences of citizen participation, in extractive sector policies.

She currently consults and advises companies and governments on the efficient management of natural resources in Ecuador.
