"Smart Meals" is a program where people raise money for food banks while buying items from sustainable, plant-based restaurants and merchants.

 

How does it work?

UBC students lead this project and have teamed up with many local establishments. When a smart meal is purchased from the business, the owner contributes money to the Central Okanagan Food Bank. 

 

Partnership with Yanapana

In this partnership, when a Kelowna resident purchases a Smart Meal at The Vegetarian Butcher, they enter a draw for a free weekly Spanish lesson with us.
